BMW X5 Hybrid, the first to adopt BMW SUV plug-in hybrid technology.
BMW X5 Hybrid was first brought to Indonesia by PT BMW Indonesia in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in 2016. Unfortunately, BMW has not intend to market plug-in hybrid car is officially in Indonesia. The biggest issue is the unclear government regulations on electric and hybrid cars.
Currently, the unit has come to be used for the benefit of education and build attention from the government and society towards environmentally friendly technology. But Autocar Indonesia got the chance to try out a car that only the only one in Indonesia for the introduction deeper.
By design, the X5 is not unlike xDrive40e X5 variants with diesel or gasoline engine. You may just feel the difference when he saw two gas cap in this car and also when looking at the logo 'eDrive' at the stern. The rest are all the same.
